The garden was designed 25 years ago within established mature trees including chestnut, oak, lime and accacia. Today, it now has many unusual and interesting trees and shrubs, with herbacious borders and old fashioned shrub roses.

At the bottom of the garden is a small field owned by the Macphersons where you will be able to see the medieval ridge and furrow. In the orchard, you will find the source of our free range eggs, thanks to our resident chickens and goose!

The area also enjoys easily accessible public footpaths, one of which crosses the south west of the garden.
