  • Stratford-upon-Avon Poetry Festival is held annually between late-June and late-August. This festival regularly draws leading names from British theatre and poetry circles.
  • The Royal Shakespeare Theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon have a constant flow of excellent plays, performed in its three auditoriums.
  • The Warwick Festival runs in the first two weeks of July. Daily entertainment centres around the castle, with classic Shakespeare plays and prestigious choir groups and orchestras doing outdoor evening performances.
  • Stow Fair has existed since 1476 when the local abbot petitioned for its charter. Stow Fair is still held in May and October, alongside the annual Stow Horse Fair at which thousands of horses are bought and sold.
